We played outside this morning while it was decent, then Hannah and I went to Wal-Mart to grocery shop and then we came home and...made homemade pizzas. How fun!! The girls loved it!! They were delicious too (so that made it even better). Here are a few clips from our "pizza kitchen."

Happy Spring everybody!! I am ready for the cold weather to get out of here and for the warm to move on in. Hmmmm....maybe it's just that I am ready for warm weather and sunshine on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. Not boasting, of course!! I am terribly excited and ready!! Trey and I leave on the 13th of April and can't wait. He gave this to me as a 30th (yes, I said 30) birthday present and we have been waiting a while to take advantage of it. I'm sure it will be totally worth the wait! This is the longest that we have left the girls, so pray that our spirits will be content that they are okay while we are away. A little nervous about not being able to get to them if they need me or want to talk to me. Hopefully all will be okay and they will not "need" us for anything. They will be getting the royal treatment from both sets of grandparents, so no need for us to really worry. We owe them a HUGE thanks, in advance, for taking such good care of them.

Hope you all had a great weekend. We sure did. Meme came to our house this weekend and we had so much fun!!! All that Lilli ever wants to do when Meme comes is "go see Sunny." Sunny is a horse that lives close by and Meme takes the girls to feed him every time she comes. Hannah just enjoys having a built-in playmate for the whole weekend. She is so good to us!! Trey and I even got to go on a date while she was here. It was great!! We went to a great Japanese Steakhouse and to Target, of course. Good times!!

Just gotta love ear infections!!

Well, it was a nasty, rainy weekend here at house...but that's not all that we had around here. Sweet Lilli has double ear infections AGAIN. We can't seem to get away from them. She has been clear for about a month or so and now has it in both ears. UGH!!! Took her to the doctor today and got a new antibiotic and a recheck in 10 days. If she is clear in 10 days---yeah, if not he will probably send us to an ENT to discuss the possibility of tubes. Not fun!!!! Anyways...sweet Lilli is as sweet and wild as ever. Other than her fever on Saturday night and telling me "ears hurt" on Sunday, you would never know that she is sick. She is such a trip!! Well, hopefully this new antibiotic will work and we won't even have to discuss tubes. I can't imagine putting my little baby to sleep for surgery. I know people do it all the time, but it worries me.

What's up with us

Just a little update on what's been going on with us...Trey and I have been married for almost 8 years and have two beautiful little girls. Hannah is 5 years old and in Kindergarten and Lilli just turned 2 last month. Trey and I are so incredibly blessed. We have a wonderful, supportive family and always try to make the best choices with our children in mind.

As of right now...I am a stay-at-home mom/substitute at Hannah's school. I have been at home with the girls for about 2 years now and am slowly inching my way back in to the school system.

Our life is pretty typical and normal. We love spending time with our families and are currently looking forward to a fun-filled cruise in April.
